Of course Armitage Alehouse is on the list! This is a Chicago favorite, and I understand why. The food is incredible, and the 1920's-esque atmosphere is unmatched. Getting a reservation can be tricky, but SO worth it!

One of my favorite spots! I've been a few times, and each time is better than the last. The waguy empanadas and tuna tostada are two must try's! (But I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu)

If you know me, you know I love Indian cuisine. Kama is definitely a must try, and it looks like they are opening a location in West Loop soon! The food, the atmosphere, and the (extensive) craft cocktail list?! Yes, yes, and yes.
Kama - Wicker Park
Another amazing Italian restaurant! The vodka sauce is SO good (and I'm picky about vodka sauces). Very nice atmosphere, great service, incredible food!
Formento's
A family owned business with the BEST sub sandwiches! The classic Italian sub is my favorite, but I really don't think you could go wrong with anything here! And if you have a sweet tooth, they have a ton of Italian sweets!
D'Amato's Bakery
Great food and a beautiful, light, and natural feeling atmosphere. I had the crni risotto about 9 months ago and I still think about it.

Every single thing we ordered was an absolute 10/10. This restaurant doesn't seem to get much hype, but it should! So, so good.

The food is great of course, but the ambiance!!! I love the vibes here, especially in the summer. (And they have a pretty good happy hour!!)

Sorry, but you have to! I'm not here to claim it's the best burger in the city or anything, but Small Cheval is definitely a must try! And fries with the white cheese sauce… 10/10.
