This is a great place to take a stroll, see beautiful butterflies, and learn a little about nature. Butterfly World is located within Tradewinds park which is an amazing park in Coconut Creek.

Tradewinds Park is broken into 2 parts, on the north and south sides of Sample road. The south side has sports fields, Butterfly world, an amazing park, disc golf and a walking/biking trail. The opposite side has horse stables, more playgrounds, and more walking trails. Both sides have lots of pavilions for rental.

Oceanic is right at the heart of the Pompano Beach pier. The seafood is delicious and the views of the beach are beautiful. There is a convenient parking garage too.

This quaint spot offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Indoor seating is limited, but there is great seating that overlooks the marina. And pets are welcome - hence the name!
The Nauti Dawg Marina Cafe
There are two locations - one east in Lighthouse Point and the other in Coral Springs/Margate area. This is my go to spot for a casual drink with friends or some good bar food.
Bonefish Mac's | Sports Grille of South Florida
While this restaurant can be on the pricey side (for my budget at least!), the food and the water view cannot be beat! Their espresso martinis are great as well. You can sit indoor or outdoor and all areas have amazing views of the Fort Lauderdale intercoastal. I highly recommend.
