Here you'll find enough books to read for an entire year that are Rory inspired. I've even add a few more that you can read when you're done with the monthly read. If you have any that you think I've missed, message me and I'll add to the list.
A witty romance filled with sharp dialogue and the perfect book to start the year with charm and wit.
Pride And Prejudice: Books
A timeless essay about women, independence, and creativity that Rory would admire. A must Rory read!
A Room of One's Own (The Virginia Woolf Library)
Holden Caulfield’s rebellious spirit makes for a perfect spring discussion. Add this to your book club list today.
The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
Warm, heartfelt, and inspiring, much like Lorelai and Rory’s bond. It's a timeless book that many have loved over the years.
Little Women (Penguin Classics): 9780140390698
A dazzling story of wealth, love, and longing in the Jazz Age. A book that will keep you captavated!
The Great Gatsby: Books
A summer ready read for dreamers, rebels, and travelers. A book about hope and freedom.

Big Brother and bold ideas are perfect for thoughtful summer conversations with your book club or other people you hang out with.
George Orwell 1984
Beautifully written and haunting, a literary masterpiece that sparks deep reflection. Such an interesting read!
The Bell Jar (Modern Classics) by Sylvia Plath
Rory would love this intellectual and emotional deep dive book which is perfect for back-to-school season.

An epic story of love, betrayal, and tragedy which is ideal for autumn nights. You won't want to put it down.
Anna Karenina
A story that challenges perspectives, inspiring gratitude and thoughtfulness. A timeless classic!
To Kill a Mockingbird: Lee, Harper: 9780446310789
The ultimate literary challenge to close out the year. It's a very Rory Gilmore book choice in my opinion.
Ulysses: 9780679722762: Joyce, James: Books
Gothic romance with strength, independence, and moral courage. Rory would admire Jane’s resilience. A great read!
Jane Eyre: Original 1847 Unabridged Edition
A companion to 1984. This is another dystopian classic Rory would dive into for its commentary on society. Such an interesting discussion one could have after reading.
Brave New World
Challenging, controversial, and deeply philosophical. This is a book Rory would read for the ideas (and debates). I think she would have had fun with this one.
The Fountainhead
A powerful coming-of-age story that captures friendship, class struggles, and finding your place in the world. They even made a movie out of this one. (Yes, I'm dating myself here because I saw it when it came out during the 80s).
The Outsiders
A masterpiece of magical realism. It's complex, beautiful, and a very “Rory spends a summer immersed in literature” choice. A wonderful edition to any bookclub list.
One Hundred Years of Solitude (Harper Perennial)
