This is a must. I keep one in my dorm, my backpack, my purse. I have them everywhere because you never know when you will get a stain!
There are very few outlets in dorms so all kinds of extension cords are nice to have. I recommend the ones with multiple plug ins on the end!

Literally any kind of shelf, I used one like this and we put our tv on it underneath our lofted beds! Plus it doubles the storage in your room which is always useful!
A lamp is nice to have especially in the evenings. Dorm lights are bright and harsh so it’s nice to have only what you need for light when you’re getting ready to go to bed. Plus it helps keep it cozy in your room!
