The gentse festivities is also highly recommended. This is from July 19 to 28. Here you can have fun, eat, drink, see workshops about literally everything. But also many artists and performances in Dutch but also English.

First the food is vegan, it is delicious and varied. The atmosphere is pleasant to sit and super cozy . The employees are then also incredibly sweet. Bonus it is a restaurant and store in 1 (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).

Ghent has several rituals stores. every time I'm in Ghent I go into 1 of them, often it's the one in the veldstraat, even though it's the smallest. It's always so cozy there and the products are so good. The employees are also so sweet.
