Forsyth Park is so beautiful. It sits in the historic district of Savannah. You can walk, ride your bike, run. play tennis, shoot some hoops or have a picnic in the park.

The Riverwalk is one of my husbands and I favorite places to go and relax, and reminisce. The cool breeze, sitting by the water, and watching the ships go by are just a few of the comforts.

Take and stroll down Broughton Street while you are visiting Savannah. There you will find nice boutiques, restaurants, and bars.

I love the vibe of the Olde Harbour Inn. I actually had my wedding in one of the suites. It is very spacious, comfy, and I had a room that gave a great view of River Street, and the Savannah River.

You can't visit Savannah without eating at The Olde Pink House. It's located in downtown Savannah Historic District. The southern style food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality is a hit. I would suggest you make reservations.

I'm a local, but my husband and I always have at least one date night with a ride on River Street just to drop by Savannah Sweets. We always grab a couple of pralines, and a couple of milk chocolate gophers. When you visit, make sure you get a free sample of the pralines.

If you really want to enjoy some great seafood, in a family friendly atmosphere, along with a great view of water you have to visit the ShellHouse Restaurant. They have been closed due to a fire, but will re-open June 12,2024
