A good place to spend time in. Never regretted it. They have a permanent collection and multiple exhibitions as well.
Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
This and Fairmount Bagels. Have them as it is, or with butter with a coffee. They taste incredible. I used to get everything bagel or sesame.

My fav hangout spot. Been my go to for affordable books as well.

They can rent out books, instruments, sports goods, power tools, have a design studio where 3d printing can happen.
Halifax Central Library
If you’re in Halifax, and you want to some high quality Michelin style of food, this is the place. Their menu can adjust for diet constraints, and the food tastes amazing.

Ethiopian food always. Try it, if you haven’t, please.
Aster Cafe
At one point, was the highest point in the city. Have a museum, gift shop, cafe and tours. Cannon goes off everyday at 12.
Halifax Citadel National Historic Site
My favourite place to visit after heavy workdays, and in weekends. The staff is friendly and it’s a local place. Good food portions as well. They have a big menu.
