R&B has always been one of my favorite genres, but I wanted my playlists to reflect my faith and honor God. These are the Christian R&B songs I discovered along the way. I hope they encourage you as much as they've encouraged me.
This song always brings me back to Colossians 3:2 and reminds me to set my mind on things above.
CèJae - Up Above
The first time I heard this song it didn’t really catch my attention, but know when I hear the intro, my mood changes completely.
Asha Elia - Serve
I love that this song is based on the scripture Matthew 6:33. It is a catchy song so you will always have in mind to put God First.
ALIA LARA - Matthew 6:33

I found this song at a time when I really needed. The lyrics are a prayer to be filled by the Holy Spirit.
CèJae - Fill Me Up
I even wrote the lyrics of this song in my journal when I was studying about God’s will. This song is a reminder that if it ain’t God’s will we must not want it.
Your Will - Lee Vasi
I think Lee Vasi is so good making R&B music. I used to have this song on repeat. It also has an spanish version.
Lee Vasi - Presence
The melody and her voice are so calm and relaxing. I love the way she sings and what she conveys with her music.
SSTEDI - Not Alone
This was one of my first discoveries when I entered the world of Christian R&B. I really related to this song.
Asha Elia - Nights Like This
I relate with this song because it's about that feeling of guilt I sometimes have for letting God down.
My Bad - Lee Vasi
I like this song because it has old rnb vibes. So if you are trying to get over secular old rnb music, this is a great option to listen to.
Evvie McKinney - Do It Again
I'm so grateful that I came across this song on a random youtube playlist because this song is really good and underrated.
Saint James - Grace
I love the singer's voice in this song. She doesn't have many songs, but I really enjoy the way she sings.
AHJAH - Can't Get Enough
I think this song is really underrated. It had me repeating all day long that there's nothing to worry about. It's a great way to keep Philippians 4:6 in mind.
Kalin Jones - Don't Worry
This song is about that strong desire to be transformed by the Holy Spirit. That desire to be cleansed, to be rescued, to be saved.
Melodicb - Rain
I don't know how to explain how muuuuuch I love this song. The lyrics, the beat, the vibe… I can't. Madison always make good music to God.
Madison Ryann Ward - Familiar
I love the soft background vocals in the intro. This song is about asking God to guide us on our paths. My favorite part is the verse that goes: "If I take the first step, Lord, could you lead me the rest of the way?"
Lee Vasi - GPS
I was obsessed with this song for a few months. Every girl who has ever sought validation from a man needs to hear this song. There’s nothing better than knowing that we are God’s beloved daughters and that He doesn’t expect us to be perfect because ...
Lee Vasi - He Is
Loooove this song. I didn't know it was also about a romantic relationship with a man. I always heard it as a song dedicated to God. I think this song is really beautiful.
Koryn Hawthorne - Speak To Me
This song is sooo good. Tori Kelly's voice is heavenly. I love that she uses her voice to praise God.
Forrest Frank, Tori Kelly - Miracle Worker
This is exactly the type of rnb songs that I like. There's something so comforting about this song. The mellow R&B sound makes me want to keep it on repeat.
Rain - Ochaè
Another song dedicated to the Holy Spirit that I love. Sondae makes wonderful music.
Sondae - Holy Essence
I love the chorus of this song. The line “Lord, speak to me, I will listen this time” means a lot to me because I discovered this song at a time when I really needed God to speak to me.
Sondae - Yours (ft. SIV)
This guy just keeps making great music for the Lord. He makes chill R&B with faith-filled lyrics.
Perfect - Ochaè
This song popped up on my Spotify one day, and I've loved it since then. It has a version with Forrest Frank but I prefer this one because of the intro.
Nathan Davis Jr - Woke Up This Morning
This song is for those times when you feel like you're in a hole you can't get out of, but you have to remember that God is stronger. My favorite line is “I feel like I can't resist, but I heard your love is deeper than this”
Charlene Nash - Deep
There's something very soothing about the way Sstedi sings. I really like her music.
