ESSENTIALS

We prefer these kind of balls than the official ones because they have more weight to it and in our opinion, they have more grip.
We have always used these ones and in our opinion, they last longer.

Now I won't lie to you.. I dont use knee pads BUT Giuli does and highly recommend that you use them, especially if you're a beginner or just in general.
I did start my volleyball journey using them but I would burn through 10 pairs in like a month because I kept sliding and diving so I had to force myself to stop diving and sliding by not wearing knee pads anymore but i had to pay the price of bruisi...
KNEE PADS

Instead of knee pads, I wear a full leg compression sleeve to help relieve the muscle tension in my whole leg.
I use this because I stopped using knee pads plus I tend to land on one leg whenever I jump up for a hit and a block for some odd reason.
So if you have muscle tension/ache/pain in your leg, whether it's the thigh or calf, use this and you'll thank me later.

of course you gotta stay hydrated while doing any sort of exercise.
We have tested and gone through so many water bottles but of course the Owala takes the win, it keeps your drink nice and cold for HOURS.
you can either drink it through the straw OR chug it.
perfect for all around usage.

BAG & THE CONTENTS

We love the shoe compartment cause it keeps it separated from everything else and keep the smell contained.

okay okay okay HEAR ME OUT.
I usually go for Nike Men Indoor Basketball shoes for the grip but when I tried these women volleyball shoes from Under Armor, i never went back.
1. SUPER comfortable
2. SUPER lightweight.. and i mean like it feels like im just wearing socks.
3. AMAZING grip
sooo say what you want but I don't regret buying them, i jump so much higher and i move so much faster.

Also pro tip!
never wear your volleyball shoes outside.. like never let them touch dirt. put them on when you're indoors and on the court, the moment you get ready to leave the court, take them off. that way you maintain the grip for as long as you can. take care ...

I use this mainly on my fingers to have better grip of the ball for maximum control to set, hit, and serve the ball.
It can also be used for your wrist and ankle to maintain stability and if you have a sprained muscle.

Whether you have a ball or not, you should have one in case you need one.

WARM UP

Im sure you already know this does but if you dont then it's a great way to warm up your muscles before playing. A form of stretching without doing yoga style in front of people lol

I like to call this my vibrator lol
but it's perfect when you have a muscle cramp or if you just want to hit that really sore part of your body.
it's great use for before and after a volleyball game/practice.
