Prep

If you’re starting with bare nails already, cuticles are the first thing to start with. This softens them before pushing them back
Instant Cuticle Remover

Once softened, push back cuticles. Sometimes they even just peel off on their own from the remover and I basically scrape it off.

Now we trim the remaining cuticle. This is the most precise one I’ve ever used and I won’t go back to anything else!

Shape those nails down to a comfortable amount. I’m anti-metal nail file but that’s just a personal preference!

Application

Buffing the nail is IMO the transition from prep to application. Only do this if you plan on applying in the same sitting. You want to do it just enough to create texture on your nail for the glue to have something to hold onto.
Nail Buffer

Remove oil and dust with isopropyl alcohol. I like this better than the single use pads because you can really saturate a paper towel and it’s less wasteful when going in for a second pass. Make sure to do the pads of your fingers!! You want to also ...

Listen, do not use this if you only want your nails on for a weekend. This GRIPS and STICKS. I’ve used a few different glues and this has the best hold but doesn’t destroy my natural nail (!!!!)

Glamnetic genuinely is superior. Make sure to pick the best fits (don’t push down too hard to make it fit! Just go up a size) and file edges to fit your natural nail bed instead of shoving into it. Apply pinky to thumb. I like to do three on my non d...

Removal

It’s been two weeks and you’re ready for a fresh set! Gentle removal is key. I start with lifting my edges by my nail bed and warm up some coconut oil and massage it in.
Coconut Oil

I’ll put on gloves to keep the coconut oil on for about 15 minutes to soften the glue.
Food Grade Gloves

This really is the holy grail but it isn’t magic. Be slow and don’t force any nails off. Get it under the lifted edges and work it under by wiggling the nail. It may take a few rounds but I promise, going slow is worth it.

Once you buff off the excess glue, we need to nourish our nails for a few hours before applying a new set. I like to go in with the nail strengthener 2-3 times over a day to help build back strength.

Again, we need to NOURISH before applying a new set. This is literally the best. I apply multiple times until the product stops being absorbed as quickly because then I know my nail is moisturized.
