shampoos
after saturating my hair with water, I first use a clarifying shampoo to get rid of build up. then I cleanse my hair with a gentler shampoo.
controversial but HEAR ME OUT: it’s a cost friendly & highly effective shampoo for washing away build up (especially if you have hard water)
Head and Shoulders
gently cleans and hydrates my hair without weighing it down. so nice for fine, low-porosity folks. smells like fresh apples!
Matcha Green Tea & Apple Blossom Shampoo
An excellent scalp exfoliator I use in between wash days if I’m I’ve been sweaty or need a refresh. Just massage it into your scalp, let it marinate for 20-30 minutes, and rinse it out.
Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner
conditioners
I use two conditioners: one I rinse out & the other I leave in to keep my hair super soft!
running this through my hair with lots of water leaves my hair super soft and silky. Plus it’s water based which is low-porosity hair friendly!
Matcha Green Tea & Apple Blossom Conditioner
Ultra lightweight moisture. this is the one product that legit changed my hair overnight. it’s so slippery and silky in the shower once i add this. it is the most expensive product I use, but I promise it’s worth it.
dream routine overnight hydrating hair mask
This is another great conditioner if you have dry, low-porosity hair. It’s a little more expensive than my other rec, but I still thought I’d mention it here.

styling products
water-based, foamy styling products are your friend if you have low-porosity & fine hair. here are the ones I use.
I use a few sprays of this in between layering my other mousses and foams. It definitely makes a difference. Hydration is key!
Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray
a new release that I’ve loved adding to my routine. It helps define my waves without weighing them down. The foamy texture is perfect for wash days and refresh days.
Beach Babe Texturizing Foam
A great, lightweight mousse I enjoy using on high humidity days for extra frizz protection. Minimal crunch to scrunch out.
Curl Talk Activating Mousse
if you prefer gel over mousse, I’ve tried this this one and it doesn’t make your hair crunchy.
Instant Freeze Hair Gel with Jojoba Oil & Sea Kelp
After you add all of your products, wrap your hair in a microfiber towel instead of a regular one. This creates less friction which means less frizz and damage.
