My biggest regret for my dorm room is not having this chair! The desk chair provided is often small and uncomfortable. I also find myself sitting in it a lot.

A good step stool for a raised dorm bed is a must! A great investment, and more affordable than a nice ottoman. I got an ottoman from amazon and it caved in within the first 2 months.

You need some type of hanging shoe organizer. I personally have hanging cubbies in my closet, but I know a lot of people with the ones hanging on the door. Find the smallest option that still fulfills the job!

Personally I divide my loads of laundry into lights and darks so having a split hamper lets me sort my clothes as I wear them! I have removable bags I carry my laundry in and just wash the bag as well.
