I lived in Okinawa, Japan, for 5 years and I miss it every day! I would go back in a heartbeat. These are some of my favorite eats, locations, and things to do on the island. how spicy can you handle? this ramen shop is so spicy it'll make you cough and your eyes water when you walk through the door!
Volcano Ramen
such good pizza but also has the most AMAZING view. and you CANNOT miss out on their frozen mango dessert! I dream of it!

this is where my husband and I went on our first date, and where we would go for Sunday Soba almost every Sunday thereafter. absolutely delicious and traditional Japanese style restauarant
Hamaya Soba
this restaurant was right behind our apartment and we loved it! when we lived there it was cash only, but we loved their lattes and pancakes, and the restaurant had such a cozy vibe

one of my favorite breakfast places in Okinawa!

located close to the sea wall, their pad thai is a MUST TRY. I loved it so much I had it nearly once or twice a week

their bagels and smoothies are so good!
Little Cactus
their acai bowls are so good! close to the seawall, I loved grabbing a bowl and then going to sit on the seawall and watch the waves

hibachi style steakhouse. a more luxurious dining experience! we loved the wagyu and dream about it still. we would fly back to Okinawa just for a Four Seasons meal
