Activities, including the beach

Visit the Pensacola area and the towns around Pensacola. Molino, Navarre, Cantonment and Pensacola Beach- there is plenty to keep you busy.  Visits to the beach are a must for anyone coming to visit the Northwest Florida area. The claim to fame are the white sandy beaches. Great to visit. Take the kids, enjoy the outing and bring your surfboard.

Whitney runs a great farm that she opens up for the kids - great educational activity to learn about farm animal care and pet the animals.  Definitely reach out and see if you can schedule something.

Downtown Palafox Market is a must for a stopping point to see the sites and visit a ton of vendors about their wares.   Saturday mornings it's the place to be.   Bring your pet as pets are welcome to walk the stretch of the market. Check the city calendar as special events planned may affect their days of being open.

Navy Federal is one of the largest employers in the area. Their recreation park is for anyone's use.   It's a great safe place for kids, a place to walk the dogs and just to sit and watch others play their sports. Plan a day - with a picnic and just spend the day there.

A great kid activity is taking them to the Gulfarium Marine Park on Okaloosa County An hour drive from Pensacola but well worth it. You will have fun, the kids will be excited, and you can spend the day taking the sites in the area.

The Naval Air Museum is enjoyed by the locals as much as the visitors to the area. You can spend hours learning about the history, the different planes and even sit and do your own landing. The kids love it as much as the adults.

Looking for home cooking and simple foods.   Jen's Grill is a secret in Molino just outside the Pensacola city limits.   Friendly people and treat everyone like family.

Highly recommended for lunch and dinner.  The food is great and earned my 5-star rating. Charles and Kelly started out as food delivery for sandwiches during lunch and turned into something special.  Stop by downtown Pensacola for this lunch spot.
