Uncertain what favors to get for your kiddos to take to school for Valentine’s Day or for a special someone in your life? Here are some of my favorite products we have and love, but also some other fun gifts and ideas I’d love to try for my family too for Valentine’s Day. If you don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day that’s okay, because most of the items can be just little pick me ups to say “I love you” on any random day.

No one likes the sicknesses that commonly arise in the colder season. We’re cooped up inside, so less natural vitamin D (eh hem looking at you sunlight). We tend to eat more poorly (holiday sweets and treats). All of which can negatively impact our immune system. BUT… here are some of my favorite ways to prevent illness or boost my and my family’s immune system when I’m sick to recover quicker! What works for us may not for you, but these are what we use and like.

After my first pregnancy I had to go dairy and soy free to feed my baby boy. Now, I have to again for my baby girl. Both kiddos seem to have had an intolerance in the beginning of life that the one has outgrown, but I pray my 2nd does too! But these are my favorite go-to snacks. Granted, not all are as healthy as I’d love for them to be, but I’m doing what I can how and where I can. Besides whole foods - this is the best I’ve got.

Our home isn’t 100% free of all toxins, but little by little we’ve tried to decrease our toxic exposures.

Cooking and baking is something I’ve always enjoyed doing, but being a mama of two littles makes the task of prep and clean up a bit more daunting. However, when you find a recipe and it is delicious the first time you make it - you keep it and share it with others!

I have always been an avid fan of live plants. I have upwards of 100 plants in my home and it brings a little sense of “making my oasis” within my home. Along the way I’ve found these products to be my favorites.
