i love movies like most people, but i have a certain niche for claymation movies specifically. here are some of my all time favorite movies that have mostly grown with me through my childhood but still remain superior as i enter my adulthood
classiccc childhood movie i remember watching this in theaters with my mom and being shocked and gagged at other mothers true form
Coraline
another classic more so for the older generations but great storytelling and a lot of heart and soul put into them
Films | Wallace & Gromit
i’m judging you by who you ship victor with… jk lol but i absolutely adore the music and coloring of this movie so well done and could rewatch everyday
Corpse Bride (2005)
this movie honestly reminds me of a fever dream which i think should add points to why it’s so good
ParaNorman (2012)
actually you wanna talk about fever dreams THIS is the one not once did i know what was gonna happen next
The Boxtrolls - LAIKA Studios
i’m not sure if this fully qualifies as claymation but i LOVE the messages of this movie very well balanced at making it humorous while also sentimental 100/100
Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)
this list just wouldn’t be complete without this classic i absolutely love the singing in this movie as well
The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
this is a cute feel good movie
Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015)
i’m a big fan of tim burton if you couldn’t tell this one is a little odd but love it nonetheless
Frankenweenie (2012)
another movie that absolutely freaked me out as a kid but now i love rewatching it for its humor but also little dash of sadness in the storytelling
Monster House (2006)
halloween movies i think in general are just peak but again this just reminds me of the simplicity’s of childhood
Scary Godmother Halloween Spooktakular
sometimes you can just tell when producers have fun with their movies and this is a great example
Chicken Run (2000)
beautiful movie no critiques
The Polar Express (2004)
very unique movie tbh i have adhd so its hard for me to stay focused sometimes but it was very engaging
Kubo and the Two Strings (2016)
i would see edits of this on my tik tok fyp and finally decided to give it a watch and was so glad i did definitely shed a few tears
Watch Isle of Dogs | Disney+
cutie patootie feel good movie it doesn’t feel like christmas until i’ve watched this movie
