If you have kids, this is a great zoo and also on the property is a carousel and also food trucks on Fridays through the summer months
Roger Williams Park Zoo
This playground was recently redone and they also have an outdoor exercise area as well as a 1 mile path that goes around the property
Swansea Playground
This place has animals from horses to bunnies to pigs that you can interact with and they also do farmers markets here through the spring, summer and fall. They have lots of activities for the kids when they have events here
Stony Creek Farm
This park has areas to picnic, a playground, areas where you can grill and so much more. You can usually find a del's truck there in the summer and kids flying kites and riding bikes on the trails that go around the park
Colt State Park - Rhode Island State Parks - RI.gov
This beach is great for kids as it has a little pond as well as the ocean and they have a surf camp here in the summer. Downside is they only have port-a-poties but do have food trucks there and slush most day in the summer
South Shore Beach - Welcome to Little Compton, RI
This is a great little coffee shop with yummy sandwiches and acai bowls as well as it has a playground and a dog park and a little floral shop right on the side of it
Somerset - Pink Bean Coffee
This new playground is so fun and safe for all with a turf ground and a little track around the outside and it is also fenced in which is nice!
Four Hearts Foundation
This is a great family family restaurant and the great thing about this place is that they have an arcade as well to entertain the kids
Barrett's Alehouse Fall River
A great place to get fresh produce and meat and all other home made goods!
Farmers Market - Mount Hope Farm
Another great because where they have surf lessons and you can rent surf items to use. Sometimes there is red tide here which is a bummer but there is so much beach to spread out across

The Square Peg - Warren
They have delicious food and drinks but I would say this is more of an adult venue.
Waterdog Kitchen + Bar
This is a family restaurant and brewery with yummy beers and a great view of the water
The Guild Brewing Co., Warren
A great restaurant with yummy pasta and steak dishes and a great sangria
Spain Restaurant
Delicious seafood that you can eat outside at picnic tables and they sometimes have live music playing in the summer and there is an ice cream truck that also comes to the property
Blount Clam Shack & Market

This is a great place to see a show and it changes often so there is a lot you can see
Providence Performing Arts Center
a great place to take kids to be creative and and they can have birthday parties as well as make different crafts
Art Pop
This is again a place that you can have a birthday party but also a place kids can do things like slime that you wouldn't want in your home!
Lil Mess Perfect
A great place for indoor play in the winter months and they also have birthday parties and special events with characters and offer coffee for moms

Another great place to see a show or performance
Veterans Memorial Auditorium (The VETS)
A fun adult activity that is great to do as a date night but also with a group of people
Stumpy's Hatchet House
Even if you don't love golf, this is a fun activity that is great as a date night but also with a large group. You don't have to take it very seriously and they provide food and drinks as well as clubs.
