A great place for the whole family! Free to enter, a variety of rides includes kid rides, great food, lots of gift shops, water rides, games, and they even puppet shows and concerts sometimes. We go every summer.
Knoebels Amusement Resort
Big park full of all kinds of rides. Great for the whole family! Food, gift shops, and more. You do have to pay to park and tickets can be a little pricey but well worth it.
Hersheypark
A great tourist attraction! You can go on a ride and see how chocolate is made, a huge shop for all kinds of goodies along with souvenirs. My kids absolutely love their giant Hershey kisses as well!
Hershey's Chocolate World
A great area for a family picnic! Has a good sized lake for those looking to fish or canoe, swing sets and sandboxes for kids, several hiking trails, a pavilion with plenty of charcoal cooking grills available, outdoor restrooms, etc. All completely ...
Montour Preserve
We saw Dylan Scott and Luke Bryan here in concert. They’re always having concerts and other events here at the stadium. Nice area, lots of room, can get very crowded though.

Kohl's Stony Hill Tree Farm
My husband is obsessed with this store come summer time. A huge variety of fireworks, they’re always running amazing deals and always do raffles for the 4th of July. High quality and friendly staff.
Just Lite It Fireworks
A restaurant and bakery with a very “homey” feel to it. The food is always delicious, we love going for breakfast. Then they have a variety of treats - pies, cookies, muffins, etc. available for you to take home if you’d like.

Penn's Cave
Such a great zoo! Eagles, prairie dogs, bears, geese, porcupine, antelope, turkeys, ducks, deer, owls, and more. Nice area to walk through, you’re able to feed some animals, and not always over crowded.
ZooAmerica
A great place to go to pick your own produce! We always go for strawberries but they also have blueberries, corn, raspberries, pumpkins, peppers, cucumbers and more. Family owned, very friendly and the berries are always delicious 😋
The Green Barn Berry Farm
Where Al Capone was once held, supposedly haunted but I’ve never seen or experienced anything paranormal. Such an interesting place though!
Eastern State Penitentiary
A great place to go for anyone who loves history! 😊 Not overly crowded, food vendors, and gift shops.
Philadelphia History Museum
A great place to take the kids, lots of animals.
Lake Tobias Wildlife Park
A great place to go for fireworks, but it is always very crowded. Lots of fireworks, food vendors, and music. You do have to bring your own seating.

Gorgeous hiking trails with many waterfalls. Is a more advanced trail so I wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues.
