It's hard not to mention a Disney hotel when talking about a family friendly trip. This hotel has recently had renovations and is on the marsh side of the island. It does have a shuttle to their beach.

My family's favorite pool is the Sonesta pool. It's an easy jaunt with a wagon to their beach. They have a kids club and are definitely family friendly. I find they have better deals on rooms than similar style hotels.

This is a fun activity for the whole family. The village has a playground, ice cream shop, high and low end restaurants, souvenir and clothing stores. This could take up a morning or afternoon. Parking can be tricky, so prepare yourself to be patient...
