I use a lot of washi tape when creating my reading journal spreads, and like when the elements match the story or the setting. These tapes are easy to reach for and layer behind character stickers, book covers, and photos for a full design.












































I absolutely love stickers that tell a story, so I gravitate towards character stickers. My favorite illustrators are Marigona Suli, Sibylline Meynet, and MochiBujo.










































Journals that I have personally used in the past, and highly recommend. The binding is quality, the paper is sturdy, and great for mixed media.

























I really enjoy the look of aged paper, so when creating a spread for a historical fiction read, or rustic fantasy, I like to burn the edges a little. But no actual flame can come near my journal, so this smudging tool is the best!
