Favorite place to stop by on a beautiful weekend. Don't skip the market breakfast inside. Personally I love the grit with the green chilis!
Eastern Market
If you're visiting DC, you simply cannot skip the free Smithsonian museums. Exhibits are constantly changing so you can go as many times as you want and never get bored.

Jerk at Nite
Such a cool little oasis in the city. Especially beautiful with the lotus flowers are in bloom.
Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens
One of the OG coffee spots in DC. I just get their americanos but their espresso is always pulled well!
Peregrine Espresso
Okay this one isn't in DC, it's closer to Annapolis, but if you're in the area you have to go. They are my absolute favorite bakery. If you like key lime, their key lime danish with change your life.
Black Market Bakers Edgewater
If you're seeing a show in DC, you can't go wrong with the Anthem. There are no bad seats and the sound is always incredible. Just remember to uber or metro and if you're ubering, try to walk a couple blocks East to get out of the thick of the traffi...

A local favorite! I love their unique flavors and the thai iced tea flavor is one of the best!

Great place to go for lots of food options. I live to take out of town friends here. There is something for everyone!
