Breakfast/Brunch
Such a cute little restaurant! Their hours (at least used to be) a little funky, so make sure you check to see if their open.
Toast & Eggs Restaurant
If you drive up to Stowe for a visit, this is a great place to get breakfast!
Butler's Pantry
Lunch
This is my go-to lunch/brunch place when my parents visit. It has a classic upscale diner feel and the food is delicious.
Maxis
Easy counter-order lunch at the famous cider mill! Most people know about the cider donuts and country store, but they miss out on the cider tasting and cafe. It is wonderful!
Cold Hollow Cider Mill Cafe
Dinner
HANDS DOWN one of my favorite restaurants in our area. The atmosphere, food, and price are amazing. It is a MUST visit.
Gallus Restaurant | Handcrafted Pasta
We went here for one of our anniversaries and it is so beautiful and delicious! I had one of the best desserts I've had in Vermont here.
Michael’s on the Hill
Famous for a reason. Pricey, but worth it. Absolutely delicious.
Hen of the Wood
If you want something classic, casual, and delicious, this is the option for you.
The Reservoir - Restaurant & Tap
Absolutely amazing. If you like barbeque/smoked meats, this is a must visit. Their restaurant side has a full menu while their bar side has a smaller menu, but both are equally as good.
Prohibition Pig | Restaurant and Brewery
My husband and I go here specifically for their nachos and mac & cheese! Delicious for a casual bite!
The Blackback Pub
Absolutely amazing pizza. They have such a cool, eclectic atmosphere and I love to come here and get a glass and a pizza.
Stone's Throw
This is a more casual setting than the main dining hall at the Von Trapp Lodge, but the food is still delicious and drinks are great!
Von Trapp Bierhall
We came here one year for my birthday and I had the BEST steak I've ever had in my life. It is pricey, but I feel like it is worth it.
Von Trapp Family Main Dining Hall
Bakeries & Cafes
My favorite cafe/bakery in our area. The bread is wonderful, sandwiches are good, coffee is excellent. I highly suggest trying the affogato! If you visit in the summer and go to the Camp Mead Friday night live music, you can also get their homemade p...
Red Hen Baking
Probably our favorite coffee shop in the heart of Waterbury village! They also have delicious breakfast/lunch food and pastries.
