I was between this and the science experiment version, but ultimately went with the magic tricks. My 7 year old son has been trying to figure tricks out, so I think this will be fun.

I put this on my son’s list for months, and I bought it today to put away for Christmas. It’s under $15 with the big deal. My son was a number blocks guy when he was younger, so this is right up his alley now. I also think it would be a great hand he...

I had told my son about our 90’s hand held pets, and we did a deep dive of different ones. He really liked this one so I’ve been watching the price. It’s under $19 now, and the unicorn one is under $11! I snagged the unicorn for my daughter because s...

Skill Blox Kick Up Soccer Training Dice Game
My son has seen this advertised a lot and has always asked for it. This year he really isn’t into any kind of toys, so I feel like this is the year to do this subscription. 1. It spreads the cost out 😅 2. It’s an activity 3. Lasts all year.

HopeRock Size 4 Indoor Soft Foam Soccer Ball
Everyone we know with one of these says it’s their most used item. I feel like this will be a good joint gift for our kids.

I bought some small, fun-colored lanterns locally for my kids, but this is a great affordable option that’s similar with great reviews. Little gifts like this always feel useful and not clutter. They also feel taken seriously when they get these cool...

Snap Circuits Classic SC-300 Electronics Kit
My son loves dude perfect, and this take was right up his alley. Complicated enough to be interesting to an elementary kid, but also easy and fun enough for the whole family. We’ve purchased this for gifts too because we like it so much.

Now that we have this, there is no other way to play uno. It has a few extra cards and some of them have you hit the button and you never know when it will shoot out multiple cards you have to keep! It does this instead of drawing cards. It’s a narro...
UNO Attack! Game
Useful + Cool. Perfect gift. Could even fit in a stocking. Between school and sports and outside play, we are always looking for another water bottle.
Owala FreeSip 24oz Insulated Steel Bottle
I could go on and on about this illustrator/Author, Scott Campbell. My husband and I started collecting a lot of his pop culture art. When we had our son we discovered his board book, Hug Machine. It became my son’s favorite and is the holy grail at ...
