I've gained a new appreciation for spring after living in one of the rainiest cities in the country- so I am definitely stopping and smelling the roses. Here are my favorite ways to see flowers in my city!

Ladd Circle Park and Rose Gardens
You'll be shocked how many types of roses there are
Washington Park - International Rose Test Garden
In northern Portland, great stop on a run or bike around that neighnorhood!
Peninsula Park Rose Garden
Cherry Blossoms
They're so fleeting, so make sure to prioritze seeing them during their short peak bloom! There are tons all around the city in different neighborhoods, but here are some offical places to see them
Crowded for a reason- most concentrated place to see the blossoms in the city
Tom McCall Waterfront Park
It's beautiful year round, but the cherry blossoms here will transport you to Japan!
Portland Japanese Garden
Not as concentrated as the official sites, but you can find a few trees here! Less crowded and a perfect spot for a picnic
Laurelhurst Park
fun way to see cherry blossoms with Mt Hood in the background!
Hood River Valley Train Excursion

the most “grammable” place- try to go on a off time so it isn't as crowded. peak bloom is often in April, but make sure to double check!

A must visit in the spring, so many pretty flowers and cool features!
Leach Botanical Garden
Drive or bike the fruit loop in Hood River- there are so many amazing fruit stands and some U-Pick flower places (how cool is that?!)
