i used to come here growing up- easy getaway from DC with lots of fun activities like golf, bowling, swimming etc etc
Homestead Resort
mexico city hotel by one of my favorite interior designers. super well located and somewhat reasonable. get a drink on the roof!
Hotel Villa Condesa
hotel of choice when we go to SLO (my husband went to cal poly)! super chic rooms and an awesome rooftop bar
Hotel San Luis Obispo
i've stayed here a few times over the years and every time i'm back in new york i check to see if there's a deal on hotel tonight. the views are unbeatable

maryland at it's finest. definitely bring a good book and rent out a boat one morning!
