National Gallery of Art
my favorite weekend night in NYC- it's open late so go walk the museum and then get a drink on the top floor!
Whitney Museum of American Art
probably my favorite museum in the world. it's a converted factory and has so many incredible pieces

incredible collection of contemporary Italian art just outside of NYC
Magazzino Italian Art
truly out of this world- unbeliveably beautiful grounds and the architecture is insane- not to mention how much incredible art they have in the collection! make sure to get a snack at the outdoor cafe (they sometimes have music too!)

perfect escape from NYC in the summer or fall- large scale outdoor art
Storm King Art Center
one of the first museums I remember loving! beautiful space and amazing collection. become a member if you live in DC- they have lots of fun programming
The Phillips Collection
new DC museum housed in an old public school. the curation is incredible

amazingly curated and right in downtown Santa Fe. Don't forget to go to the gift shop!! I have way too many prints from there
The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum

right on the Thames, they always have super cool exhibtions

I was mind blown when I first visited here in 2013- the architecture and the exhibitions they have!
