Spend half day in Erice, a beautiful city in the mount Erice (Trapani). You can get tickets directly there to go up, or book in advance, or also go by car (if you can manage curves)

One or two days in the center of Palermo are mandatory, especially if you don’t visit during super hot weather (during summer I’d suggest beaches rather than city centers)
