The very first place I went out to eat in New York by myself so it holds a special place in my heart. My server was so incredibly kind and they have a little bar seating right by where the chefs make the sushi for solo diners.

this place comes highly recommended as a must try on the lower east side. I only tried the flatbread and a dessert and both were delicious, but I definitely need to come back and have the whole tasting menu experience.
