As a person who frequents coffee shops in Brooklyn (particulary to WFH), I have strong preferences :) Here's a few of my favorites
Map
Tb Coffeehouse is near Pratt, and popular with students there, as well as residents who live in surrounding Bed-Stuy, Clinton Hill, and South Williamsburg. It's filled wiht light, and has a cute backyard too!
TB Coffee House
Variety has multiple locations Brooklyn and in the city. My personal favorite is the Bushwick location- it's cozy, but also has great light. Spacious too! 2nd favorite is Greenpoint, right off of McGolrick Park. Their drinks are super well priced (at...
Variety Coffee
Great coffee (albeit pricy) off of the Bedford L stop. Very busy, but a good amount of seating. Not the best for getting work done, but a favorite, especially for days bopping around Williamsburg.
Partners Coffee — Cafe & Roastery
a beautifully-designed cafe in Bed-Stuy- the furniture is vintage and amazing. Great for working during the day, and they have great community events as well.
Early Yves Cafe
cute cafe in Bed-Stuy off of the Chauncey J. They have a ton of very good pastries, and a full menu too.
september
Cute cafe right off of Herbet Von King park. It gets busy during peak hours, but you usually can get a seat after the morning rush, but if not, the park is right there to enjoy as well!
Little Roy Coffee Co.
I love this place! Amazing light and super friendly baristas. The drinks are pricey until you notice that tip is included. Their coffee is top notch, and the space is beautiful. A great place to work.
Passionfruit Coffee
Large, bright coffee shop in the hear of Park Slope. Their vanilla syrup is my favorite in the city! Laptops are only allowed during certain times, but they have communal tables for when laptops are not allowed.
Kos Kaffe
Beautiful cafe in Bushwick with lovely interiors and tables outside too in a nice section of the neighborhood. Really good food and treats with decent coffee. I love to work outside here, as it can get busy.
La Cantine
a classic for a good reason! good coffee with a really unique space. It's popular for a reason.
Devoción
Charming coffee shop in Park Slope. I love the space's brick wall and tin ceilings.
Velvette Brew
I prefer outside to inside at this place, but it's a good pick if you're near the park!
Muse Cafe and Tea
A very popular bakery for very good reason! The pastries and food are amazing (I love the donuts and Bao bun), and their drinks are unique (bring back the Blueberry Shrub!). It's so crowded on the weekends- like 1 hour wait- but on the weekdays, you ...
Win Son Bakery
Cozy coffee shop in Bay Ridge. Definitely feels like a local's place, and has tableside service. They have a lot of unique drinks and treats. Nice place to spend a cozy afternoon with a book, espeically in the winter.
Caffè Café
another cafe with a few locations- the williasmburg one is close to Domino Park and the Williamsburg bridge.
Butler
a great option in Greenpoint (with another smaller location in Williamsburg). Great pastries!
PALOMA COFFEE & BAKERY
another option I've come to love! they have a beautiful backyard.
The Black Flamingo
great option in upper ridgewood near a very nice park.
Katan
amazing drinks and food! limited seating, but worth checking out.
