Anne Rice
An amazing author that digs into the topics of love, sexuality, religion, and more. These are a few of my favorites from Anne Rice.
If you enjoyed The Vampire Lestat, you’ll love The Vampire Armand. His story is as beautiful as it is heartbreaking.
Armand (The Vampire Chronicles)
I’m reading this right now, and anything that Hollywood has produced can’t remotely touch the character Anne Rice brought to life.
The Vampire Lestat
Stephen King
He needs no introduction! His works are known the world over, and here are a few of my favorites from him.
One of my very favorites from the master of horror himself! This book has it all: humor, suspense, love, and heartache. It’s a must read!
The Green Mile (novel)
My absolute favorite novel by Stephen King! It is well worth the read.
Duma Key
An interesting interpretation of the events surrounding JFK. Wonderful characters, a twist of the supernatural, and a choice to be made. A great read!

I loved this sequel more than I did The Shining. I was really rooting for Danny Torrence in this novel.
Doctor Sleep (novel)
Mary Downing Hahn
One of my favorite childhood authors.
One of my favorites from my childhood. Finding an old copy of this recently hit me with a ton of nostalgia!
The Doll in the Garden: A Ghost Story
Another good one by Mary Downing Hahn from my childhood. This story really broke my heart.

J.R.R. Tolkien
A master of the pen! Quite possibly the godfather of the fantasy genre. His works are known far and wide.
An absolute classic, much like anything from Tolkien. The movies just don’t do it any justice.
The Hobbit
Again, the movies do these books no justice. The storytelling within the storytelling is captivating, and written by a true master of the pen.
The Lord of the Rings
This one can be hard to get through, but well worth it in the end. It’s an amazing story.
The Silmarillion
Charles Dickens
Charles Dickens's works vividly depict Victorian England, exposing social injustices with a blend of humor and pathos. His sprawling narratives and memorable characters continue to captivate readers, offering timeless insights into the human conditio...
THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOK! I absolutely love this story, and have read it so many times! Even if classic literature seems daunting, I will always recommend everyone to try and read this book!
A Tale of Two Cities
Mario Puzo
A virtuoso of all things La Cosa Nostra!
Such an intriguing story! Before the movies, we had this story right here. Such a great read.
The Godfather (novel)
Pam Conrad
Another author from my childhood.
Another favorite from childhood.
Stonewords: A Ghost Story by Pam Conrad
Sharon Cameron
An author I have only recently discovered.
Such a wonderful but heart wrenching story! Not for the faint of heart, however.
