As a beginner, I didn’t feel the need to invest in anything too fancy so I found this yarn at Walmart and it has been working well! I love the color and am currently working on making a small shoulder bag!

I bought this hook in a 5mm, and am so pleased! I like the grip and feel that it is more comfortable compared to using an aluminum hook.

While not a necessity (and feel free to use a regular safety pin) I purchased these stitch markers in order to keep my place as a beginner who is working on a longer project.
