This is specific for the readers who love the adventure, vivid world building, charismatic characters that will transport you to a new world. They have romance, comedy, betrayal and not just every other BookTok creator recs. These I have read and wil...
World building, character development, fresh view on fantasy that’s different than the clickbait that’s out there! Beautifully written and such a great story.
Spark of the Everflame: A Novel by Penn Cole, Paperback
I will never NOT recommend this series. It’s her best work. This epic story dives into the conflict of ancient world with cameos of alternate universes and freedom fighting! With a dabble of romance, I’d say more heavily fantasy than that.
Throne of Glass
This series although immature and cringey somehow pulls you in with each book. It’s a long series with multiple offshoot novellas of other series, but it’s an enjoyable read.
Zodiac Academy (12 book series) Kindle Edition
A little YA and immature to start but then gets so much more in depth and entertaining the more you get into it.
Zodiac Academy (12 book series) Kindle Edition
Another YA easy to read and quick books. all the characters of the books grow and develop with each other with still keeping the center mission and resistance at the heart.
Shatter Me Series by Tahereh Mafi
This series made me want to continue the zodiac academy series. You read them after books 1-3 of the OG series. Gives a background of history and important characters.
Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac Series by Caroline Peckham
This is a more dynamic fantasy world with only 1 book out so far (book 2 out in 2026). It became more and more detailed and thought out as I read through which I enjoyed. Also anticipate more building on the side characters and how they’ll all come t...
When the Moon Hatched (Moonfall, #1) by Sarah A. Parker
Morally grey, enemies to lovers trope! Captivating, funny banter and historical depth! Really enjoyed falling in love with these characters and this story. The last book definitely tied everything together which I loved.
Artefacts of Ouranos Series by Nisha J. Tuli
Romance 💘
This is for the readers who want to see relatable romances and relationships grow. They’re not too quick and not corny but well thought out realistic love stories. But they’ll still bring you to tears, make you blush, or make you daydreaming about be...
Beautiful romance story about two doctors and their complicated lives. I love her writing and the maturity she brings to each character. Her books are always hard to put down.
Yours Truly (Part of Your World, 2): Jimenez, Abby
Fun light hearted friends to lovers book
People We Meet on Vacation by Henry & Emily
My favorite of hers so far! Story set in Minnesota with family drama, health care tropes and love at first sight vibes.
Books - Just for the Summer: Jimenez, Abby
This was an adorable themed story perfect for the holiday season. The banter and romance was nail biting and had me giggling to myself. Also some spice if you’re into that!
The Christmas Fix - Score, Lucy: Books
These books are so good! I couldn’t decide if this should go in historical fiction or in romance (I’d say they are more romance). The Series on Netflix does an amazing job of bringing to life these characters but let’s be real, TV adaptations never d...
The Bridgerton Series - Julia Quinn | Author of Historical Romance Novels
Classic Fiction
These are books that I feel that belongs on every bookshelf and easy conversation starters. They discuss real uncomfortable problems and how we are encouraged to live and believe what is right or wrong. But really, everyone has a different opinion an...
Fell in love with this book as a young reader and would encourage anyone to read this book.
East of Eden by John Steinbeck
Beautifully written
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
Fun read not what I was expecting at all. Pleasantly surprised.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo: A Novel
Great as an audiobook
Lessons in Chemistry: A Novel by Bonnie Garmus
The author takes a different approach of a warrior mindset to a real human mindset, but from the narration of a lover. The story itself has been told before but from the light of a human rather than a godly figure has not.
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
Beautifully written and story telling incorporating imagery, land, and relationships.
Go as a River by Shelley Read
Fable or parable is such a great description of this book. It was a short quick read but I really felt connected to the main character and their journey. Will make you think about how you’re pursuing your passions in the real world.
The Alchemist: A Fable About Dreams
I will die on this hill, THIS IS NOT A ROMANCE!! Despite what is being proposed. This is about self isolation, abuse, the worst of humanity and how it precipitates amongst generations! This is a generational trauma book with jealousy trope.
Wuthering Heights
This story revolves around sisterhood, complex family relationships as well as the imperfections of humanity. Loved this contemporary story centered around what it means to meet people where they are at and how to be honest with yourself.
Hello Beautiful (Oprah's Book Club) Novel
Nonfiction 👓🔎
Actually loved this book and I feel every medical student/ internist should read it. This journey is stressful and all consuming enough it can feel isolating. This book helped bring perspective and also understanding that other people are feeling the...
The Real Doctor Will See You Shortly: McCarthy
Love the perspective and the creative way she articulated how women have constantly been viewed as lesser than in medicine.
All in Her Head: Truth & Lies in Women's Medicine
I listened to this on audible which I would say is the preferred method for self help books. I appreciated how the author allowed for time of reflection and doing your own exercises as well as addressing topics such as self sabotage and self doubt an...
The Mountain Is You: Transforming Self-Sabotage
How do I rEAd?
I love seeing how my friends are doing and what worlds they’re diving into and I love the progression between books.

I used to be a hater of Audiobooks but I have OFFICIALLY converted. Sometimes it’s just nice to have someone read it to you AND you can control the speed and get through books so quickly. I am on track with my reading goal solely because of this. The...

Easy to assemble and sturdy.
Kindle Holders For Reading In Bed
Didn’t know how useful this would be until I got one. Helps to stay cozy under the covers and be a lazy potato.
SK SYUKUYU RF Remote Control Page Turner
Historical Fiction
Beautiful, thought provoking and heartbreaking. Way before her time this book still shares parallels to what’s going on in our society. Definitely recommend
Parable of the Sower (Earthseed, #1) by Octavia E. Butler
This book takes place post WW1 following in the perspective of a German immigrant and what it took to get into America. Ellen did a beautiful job bringing to light the horrors and atrocities that have been in place with American immigration from the ...
