MBHB Digital Voice Recorder Animal 20 Sec

tonies® | Toniebox
Creative tonies come in many shapes/colors. My favorite thing to do is to grab the blank one and have the kids or someone else decorate it to represent whoever will be on that tonie!
We have one for grandma and papa to read stories to the kids.

Deployment Wall/Countdown
A fun countdown wall is always great. We have done several different ones over the years. Feel free to mix it up and see what works best for you!
I like to have a clock on the designated section. I set it to the time zone where dad is. That way the kids can look and see what time it is for him! Any wall clock is great but digital could be easier for smaller children.
Wall Clock
I like to include a map with our wall if we have the space. Our current home doesn’t have the wall space, but the last two did! We marked our location and dad’s approximate location.
World Map Poster
I also include a mounted mail holder. That way if the kids have letters or art for dad they can just put them in there. Then they’ll go in the next care package when we put it together.
Wall Mount Mail Holder - Target
I like to include a banner like this and use mini clips to attach photos of dad and the kids together.
Target
Any little clips will do but I prefer the minis or finding holiday ones to change it up too!
Target
Letter boards are great for the actual countdown.
I prefer counting down by weeks until we get about a month or two out. Counting by weeks makes it seem like it goes faster. Counting down 270 days can seem daunting vs 40 weeks!

Tip, tricks, and fun decorating ideas!
This kit is free. It comes with flat rate boxes, the priority tape, labels and pouches. I personally don’t use those and print my labels a different way that is easier, but the boxes and tape are nice to have delivered to your home and on hand.
