Texans love their beer and over the last few years a lot of great craft breweries have opened across the state. Here are some of my favorites in the San Antonio area.
Great selection of brews. Food truck usually open-some of the best burgers in town. Dog friendly (they have a big jar of biscuits when you order for your four legged friend)

Tasty beers and craft cocktails. Usually have food truck on weekends. We enjoy playing Singo on the First Saturday of the month.

Cibolo Creek Brewing Co.
Tasty brew and food with monthy specials. Family friendly.

Back Unturned Brewing Co.: Brewery in San Antonio, TX
Great brewery just east of downtown San Antonio. Family friendly with lots of parking. They often have food trucks or special events.
Alamo Beer Company: Beer Hall and Brewery
Great spot for brews and food in south town San Antonio
Dos Sirenos Brewing
Great beers and the burgers are so yummy. Friendly staff makes it a fun place near downtown.
Künstler Brewing
Fun brewpub with tasty beers and food. The pretzel platter is yummy.
Freetail Brewing Co. - Southtown, San Antonio, TX
Located in the historic Pearl. They have a beer flight that is sharable and great food.
Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery
Lots of great beers to choose from and wonderful handmade pizza with a variety of toppings.
Back Unturned Brewing Co.: Brewery in San Antonio, TX
Huge selection of beers on tap plus a great pub food menu. Indoor and patio seating.
The Hoppy Monk
A bit off the beaten track southeast of San Antonio but worth the trip. Great beers and friendly people. Family and dog friendly. The usually have a food truck.
Cactus Land Brewing Company
This veteran owned brewery specializes in German and Belgium style beers and food in their taproom. They also carry a fair trade coffee roasted by a veteran.
Longtab Brewing Company
Just a short drive on IH-35 to the city of New Braunfels and you will find this fun craft brewery. Enjoy the full menu of beers and hearty bar food.
5 Stones Artisan Brewery
Another great brewery just a short drive from San Antonio. They have a great selection of craft made brews and a tasty pizza kitchen on site. They feature live music on weekends.
