Skyscanner helps you find the most affordable plane tickets!
Flights to Krakow | Skyscanner
Because Poland uses its own currency, you need to exchange euros or dollars for their currency, the złoty.
This is the exchange office with the best rate where we exchanged, and it's close to Old Town.
Grodzka Local Tours & Info
We went everywhere by metro, super cheap saved us so much money we'd spend on a taxi
Kraków Transport Tickets - Types of tickets and prices
it's better to call one directly rather than picking it up from a station, as it could be more expensive.
A good tip is to ask someone from your hotel and split the fare with them to save on costs.
Taxi Services in Kraków - Information, fares and numbers
Hotel
Hotel we stayed in Krakow
Got the package of b&b and loved it!
The breakfast was SO good
It was cozy, warm and secured, the staff was super nice and helpful
The hotel was 10 minutes walking distance for Old Town
Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Cracow
Trips in Krakow
Just a few landmarks and trips we been to and highly recommend visiting
Cafes, restaurants, clubs but also universities, schools, offices, landmarks, churches are there
If you ask me you don't need any other part of the town
Kraków Old Town
Beautiful monument, worth visiting
St Mary's Basilica
The exterior is stunning, and there’s a fascinating legend behind it.
Wawel Royal Castle - official website - tickets, informations, …
Right beneath the castle, you'll find the Wawel Dragon, which is tied to the castle’s legendary story. It breathes fire every 10 minutes, so I highly recommend taking the time to watch this spectacle.
Wawel Dragon (statue)
You descend 50 floors below the earth and witness a creation built centuries ago by people using salt.
Everything you see in the pictures is made entirely of SALT
Wieliczka Salt Mine
You can't go to Poland and not visit Auschwitz
Minimum one month prior to your trip you have to book it
Passport is MANDATORY for this field trip
Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum
Zapiekanka is a famous dish all over Poland, but it's definitely the best in the Jewish Quarter. Just look at it, a MUST try!! 🫠
And it's super cheap only 4-10 zlotys depending on your side dishes
Jewish Quarter Krakow
I recommend watching the cult film Schindler's List before visiting Krakow if you haven't already.
Fundacja im. Oskara Schindlera
It's a beautiful bridge to see, but be careful when crossing, as it can be easy to get lost moving between the districts.

Cafes, clubs and restaurants
With the best prices
One of the best shots I've ever had! The service is fantastic, but it’s always busy, mostly with tourists.
The prices are such a steal too!
It’s a franchise bar, so you can find a few locations around Krakow.
Pijalnia Wódki i Piwa - tu zaczyna się każda impreza!
This place is amazing!
I LOVE their traditional pierogi with potatoes and cheese.
BaniaLuka in Krakow
It costs between 9 and 15 euros, depending on the flavor. The salted caramel is a favorite!
Wódka Cafe Bar
Loved this club!
It's not a one big club it's more divided into smaller rooms and in every room is a different DJ with different music so you can easily find your style!
Space Club Kraków
Good club if you're really into partying!
Frantic Club
First place we went to eat and it was 💣!!!
Best burgers ever, always packed, we had to wait outside for somebody to leave first but so worth it!
Moaburger
It’s a great spot for a late brunch, and I loved everything about it.
Loved their version of hot dogs, a must try!
Las Breakfast & Prosecco
High quality food, its authentic, and it connects you with Polish roots and traditions.
Kuchnia u Babci Maliny – Restauracje w centrum Krakowa
They’ve been around since the communist era and now operate as a restaurant serving authentic Polish dishes. The atmosphere isn’t luxurious but it’s authentic. I recommend trying the Polish compote.
Bar Mleczny pod Temidą
Shopping
We went here for all the basic groceries. They have them literally on every corner.
You can find everything there, from drinks and snacks to food and even fast food.
My recommendation is the hot dogs – they’re quick to prepare, tasty, and affordable...
Żabka
I'm not the type to shop on holidays, but this is the biggest shopping center in Krakow!
You can find many stores and cafes there
Galeria Krakowska
Although you have souvenir shops on every corner in Krakow all being around the same price, this is a one I loved!
Bought half the store!
Krakuska Sztuka Ludowa
Loved their post cards!
Bought my family and friends one, super cheap!
