Incredible book, I love an unreliable narrator!
The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
suchh a good book, arguably my favourite classic.
The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, Robert Mighall
incredible classic, mary shelley was way ahead of her time - such a timeless book.
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
yet another fantastic classic - a much longer read than the other classics on this list but it's so interesting to see the way in which literature demonises my ancestors
Dracula - Penguin Clothbound Classics (Hardback)
Non-Fiction
Absolutely lives up to the hype - I use things I learned from it daily and I've been so much more productive and motivated. Author's website has loads of fantastic resources as well!
Atomic Habits by James Clear
History
Very neutral, unbiased collection of events. Definitely worth reading to get a better grasp of what is actually happening and how it came about.
A Very Short History of the Israel–Palestine Conflict
Incredibly detailed account of the wars and conflicts leading up to the separation of Yugoslavia. Extremely interesting to read about and worth understanding.
The Fall of Yugoslavia: Amazon.co.uk: Glenny, Misha
Crime
Such a fantastic crime book. It’s absolutely incredible from start to finish, I can’t recommend this book enough.
Thirteen by Steve Cavanagh
ABSOLUTELY INCREADIBLE. Follows a similar structure to Scandinavian crime drama, and is easily one of the most engaging books I’ve read. Would reread over and over again!
The Mirror Man by Lars Kepler
Dystopia
best book I’ve read, heartbreaking, horrific and I love it so much. Will never read again though, I can’t go through that again
Sunrise on the Reaping - The Hunger Games (Hardback)
Amazing book and very relevant currently. Margaret Atwood is fantastic
The Handmaid's Tale (Paperback)
Favourite series of all time! A must read for everyone. You tend to understand more what Collins is trying to say when you read again as you get older.
The Hunger Games : Collins, Suzanne

Most heartbreaking short story I’ve read. Very quick read, but it left me in tears.
Orbiting Jupiter by Gary D. Schmidt
The Iliad from the perspective of the female characters. Amazing feminist piece, I couldn’t put it down
The Silence of the Girls by Pat Barker
My all time favourite play- extremely complex characters ranging from morally grey to unforgivable.
A Streetcar Named Desire - Penguin Modern Classics (Paperback)
such a great exploration of conservative culture in South Korea. Reads a bit like a fever dream at times, but I love it.
