Feeding Favorites 🍼

I breastfed both of my girls until they went to daycare & I went back to work. At that point, we had to introduce bottles. These are a few things that were very helpful during my journey!

Michal Ann Starbird profile picture
The transition from strictly breastfeeding to bottle feeding at daycare was really tough for my first. She did the best with these bottles. I knew I wanted glass bottles to help reduce my baby’s exposure to plastic.

This was the other brand bottle that worked well for us. Again, my babies were initially strictly breastfed and then transitioned to bottles for daycare. These were narrow & easy to hold.

We used glass bottles & this was sturdy enough to hold them. We threw all the bottles in the a dishwasher at the end of the day & placed them on this task to dry afterwards. It doesn’t take up a ton of space.

Diapering Must-Haves 🧷

I don’t have much to add to this section. We use diapers that are on sale & Costco wipes. Which, if you didn’t know, they pull out one at a time & that’s everything sometimes. We don’t use a diaper pail. I had one for my first but it broke. A...

Nursery Essentials 🧸

We were fortunate enough that someone gave us a crib & a rocking chair. The only major piece of furniture we had to purchase was a dresser. Here’s a few things we did buy that were helpful.

We hung book shelves in both our nurseries. They have grown with our girls & have gotten a lot of use out of them!

On-the-Go Essentials 🚗

For my first baby, it was Nuna car seats & stroller. While I’m still a fan of their products, for my second baby we went a different route. You really can’t beat a rotating car seat & Nuna just wasn’t in the budget second go around. I am always weary of buying a carseat second hand but strollers are fair game! So, this is a mixed list of what I used with my first & second!

Michal Ann Starbird profile picture
This is what we used for our infant carrier. It was light weight. I had no trouble carrying it after either of my c-sections. It clips into the stroller well & is easy to figure out. It has even changed a little since we originally bought ours. I...

I bought this off of Facebook Marketplace & we've rocked the wheels off this baby. It was a good deal & I like that they are able to sit side-by-side. It doesn't push as well as the Nuna but it's worked so well for our afternoon walks! I do w...
