Thank God for my high school AP Literature teacher for introducing me to this series. This book immediately pulled me into such a dark, intense world while giving me characters to root for. It had me hooked from the first page.

The second book of the An Ember in the Ashes series. This one had me on edge the whole time. The tension, the danger, and the twists made it impossible to put down. There’s also a good mix of romance

I’m only about 90 pages into this book, but so far it is really enjoyable. You would like this if you don’t mind reading books that don’t have a ton of deeper meaning. This book is purely for entertainment purposes

This was the first Colleen Hoover book I read because it’s also her most popular book (now it’s a movie as a well). The story was romantic but also had an emotional twist. It balances romance with real-life struggles in such a powerful way.

This is the sequel to It Ends With Us. It gave closure and a hopeful, heartwarming continuation of the story from the first book.
