I love the Caran D'Ache Neocolor II Aquarelle! They are the combination between an oil pastel and colored pencil! The Neoclor IIs are water soluble!

I occasionally use these and they are very soft and buttery smooth oil pastels! The colors are vibrant and poppy! They can get messy though and so I recommend sealing them with some type of fixative!
