This list is for anyone else whose body is constantly trying to implode. For those of us who use “spoons” as units of energy measurement, the holidays bring lots of other factors we manage: weather changes, added stress, more events to go to. So to keep up with my very active family during the holidays, this is what I do.

These are my favorite recipes that I modify to fit my gluten-free lifestyle. For breadcrumbs I either make my own (toast GF bread in the oven then pulse in a food processor) or buy them pre-made. Don't forget to check that your alcohol, soy sauce, oats, and any condiments are GF before using!

I love how the story celebrates courage, individuality, and embracing your own path—and I’m beyond excited to see part two and continue experiencing their journey on the big screen!

Physical media is special because it gives you something tangible to hold and enjoy, whether it’s a favorite album, movie, or book—something you can really connect with in a way digital files just can’t match. It’s also surprisingly sustainable, since a well-made CD, vinyl, or book can last for decades without the constant energy use that streaming or downloads require. Giving physical media as a gift during the winter holidays feels thoughtful and personal, showing that you really considered what the person would enjoy. Plus, there’s something magical about unwrapping a physical gift—it adds a little extra excitement and makes the moment feel memorable.
