Located mostly between Nampa and Caldwell, the wine trail has 20+ wineries. It feels a little like Tuscany, but in Idaho! (Italy lovers please forgive me!) It's a nice drive and a great afternoon. Garden Valley is about a 1 hour drive from Boise and a beautiful one at that - in the mountains along the Payette River. Check out the Terrace Lake Resort & golf or swim, go river rafting or just stop by The Dirty Shame for a bite to eat!

About an hour drive from Boise and a short nature filled hike in to see a beautiful waterfall - it's worth it!! There is an area to hang out, read a book, take a swim. Usually it's pretty peacefull, but sometimes on weekends it can be a little busy.
