I used to step out of the shower onto a mat that was still wet from yesterday. Flipping it over revealed horrors. These dry so fast it honestly felt like a trick the first time I tried one.

Even a fast-drying mat can trap moisture against your floor if there's no airflow underneath. I learned this after pulling up a brand new mat and finding condensation pooling beneath it.

My bathroom had a fan that sounded like a jet engine but moved zero air. Turns out half the mold problem was ventilation, not just the mat itself.

Realized my towels were part of the problem. They'd hang on the back of the door, stay damp for 12 hours, and add moisture back into the room. Fixing this was easier than I expected.

Before I upgraded everything, I had to deal with the mold that was already thriving on my grout, caulk, and floor. These are what actually worked after I wasted money on generic sprays.

Couldn't believe how humid my bathroom actually was until I measured it. Turns out I was showering in a tropical rainforest every morning and then wondering why everything grew mold.
