I thought all pregnancy pillows were the same until I burned through two flat ones that lost shape in a week. These held up night after night and kept my belly from dragging when I turned on my side.

Sometimes you don't need the whole giant pillow. Some nights I just needed something small tucked under my bump to stop that awful pulling sensation on my round ligament. These wedges saved me.

Nobody warns you that pregnancy pillow covers wear out fast because you're sweating on them every single night. I went through three before finding materials that actually held up and stayed cool.

My pregnancy pillow helped my belly, but my hips were still grinding into our old mattress every night. Adding a topper underneath was the missing piece I didn't figure out until month seven.

Even with the right pillow and topper, I kept waking up from leg cramps, heartburn, and overheating. These smaller items handled the problems my pillow couldn't fix on its own.

Plot twist: I used my pregnancy pillows even more after the baby arrived. Nursing, C-section recovery, holding a newborn for hours. These pulled double duty and I'm glad I didn't pack them away.
