I live in an extremely hot an humid place. My hair texture is super coarse, thick and dry so frizz is my best friend unfortunately but these products have become by holy grails. Even if its raining outside my curls stay put but not greasy or crunchy....
My hair is super dry so I usually use a leave in conditioner instead of a curl cream, love it! Again expensive but sometimes you can find it at TJ max for half the price

If you want a more affordable oil to use buy jojoba oil, it works for EVERYTHING! Hair, skin, scalp, etc. it doesn’t smell at all so it’s good for multipurpose use. What I usually do is break the cast with this oil and then spray my hair with perfume...
I LOVE this hair oil because of the smell, you def don’t NEED, break the cast with any hair oil but I always get compliments about my hair smelling good because of this
