Some of my favorite places in Paris — from pretty streets and quiet spots to the places I always love coming back to.❤️
Map
I never get tired of walking around Montmartre. The little streets, stairs and cafés make it feel completely different from the rest of Paris.
Montmartre
One of my favorite areas to just walk around without a plan. There are cute streets, little shops, cafés and so many places to stop for a coffee.
Le Marais
Perfect for a relaxed walk, especially when the weather is nice. I love grabbing something to eat and sitting by the canal.
Canal Saint-Martin
Classic Paris. Pretty streets, cafés everywhere and that old Paris feeling that never really gets old.
Saint-Germain-des-Prés
Such a nice place to slow down for a bit. I like coming here when I want to walk around, sit outside and get away from the busy streets.
Jardin du Luxembourg
One of those places where I can just sit for a while and watch people. The architecture around the square is beautiful and the whole area is nice for a walk.
Place des Vosges
Probably one of the prettiest little streets in Montmartre. It’s short, so I usually combine it with a walk around the rest of the neighborhood.
La Maison Rose
Very touristy, but I still like passing through when I’m in Montmartre. There are artists everywhere and it actually feels quite lively.
Les Artistes de la Place du Tertre
It’s surprisingly peaceful and really nice for a long walk. You can spend quite a while just wandering around and looking at the old tombs.
Cimetière du Père-Lachaise
I like this area because it feels more residential and less like the typical tourist version of Paris. Nice cafés, little streets and a much calmer atmosphere.
Batignolles
Small, quiet and beautiful. I like walking around here when I’m already near the Seine.
Île Saint-Louis
One of my favorite streets when I want to walk around and stop somewhere along the way. Lots of food, bakeries, cafés and little shops.
R. des Martyrs
The view is obviously beautiful, but I actually prefer walking around the streets behind the basilica rather than staying only around the main entrance.
Sacré cœur
I love walking through here when I’m around the Louvre. It’s quiet, pretty and a nice place to take a little break.
Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre
Obviously one of the most iconic places in Paris, but I still love seeing it every time. The view from the Trocadéro side is especially nice, especially around sunset.
