It's Weird but I'm into It
Books that you have to read to understand
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
This was a new genre for me, Lit-RPG. This is DnD meets a video game. I loved it and I don't even like DnD or video games like that. It's a hard series to explain and it sounds like a fever dream any time I do. So worth it!
Dungeon Crawler Carl
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75
The character development and added layers in this book really added to the story. I could not put this book down and found myself thinking about it when I wasn't reading it
Carl's Doomsday Scenario - (Dungeon Crawler Carl #2) by Matt Dinniman | PLUMFIELD BOOKS
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A psychological thriller I couldn't put down. The end left me thinking "what the hell"
I'm Thinking of Ending Things
The Audiobook Was Better
The book was great but the audiobook took it to the next level
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The characters really come to life in audio vs print. It's also a little technical due to the science of the book so listening to it made it more digestible. No notes, I love this book!
Project Hail Mary: A Novel

An epic tale of a family lineage dating back to their ancestors' village in Africa through the present day. Non-linear timeline that meets in the middle
The Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois
I'm a better woman from reading these essays. Strong, powerful, and introspective. If you're looking for books that cover intersectional feminism start here
Sister Outsider: Essays and Speeches by Audre Lorde

"I was forced to acknowledge too late, much too late, that I too had loved, that I was capable of suffering and that I was human after all."
This book was unsettling, difficult to read, and very emotional but so worth the read. Make sure ...
I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman
Cozy Reads
Books that feel like a warm hug....perfect for couch rotting
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cozy, low fantasy DnD vibes. Focused on found family, creating a name for yourself, and mild mystery/adventure. Slow-burn, fade to black sapphic romance subplot
Legends & Lattes: A Novel of High Fantasy and Low Stakes
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
What if a dream showed a glimpse of your future? Would you change anything?
This book took me through so many emotions and kept me guessing until the very end!
In Five Years by Rebecca Serle
Loved this series! It had a mix of adventure, spice, and strong female leads. If you're looking to venture into romantasy, this is a great series to start with.

Amazing 👏 Read the physical book and then listen to the audiobook. The author narrates and it's nice to see how I interpreted the writing vs how she meant it to be heard
