Tech is a most (ovi) but its important to know what to get. I’m an Apple user, but Samsung is a great Android alternative.
I love using my IPad for everything, but specifically for sketching or planning in my digital journals.

I love doodling, handwritten notes, gaming and more with my Apple Pencil. It’s too good!

These are by far the best noise cancelling headphones. I’ve had these for years and they work amazingly. I love listening to ambient music while studying, journaling or even doing cardio workouts.
Bose Wireless Headphones
I’m an iPhone user but Samsung has one of the best camera qualities. I know a few of my friends who own one and it’s so clear!! You don’t even have to do too much editing (unless you’re going for an aesthetic).
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
Storage is key with all the photos, editing and notes. I make sure to link everything to prevent my files from getting lost :(

I love this design tool. You create the spreads by adding graphics and your photos. Tip: you need Canva Pro to download as transparent background for Paper App.

App to get aesthetic filters for photos or videos. I love the brownie filter for that darker look also fun effects.

All of these apps are useful, just depends on your preference. I’ve use all but currently Noteful.
Way cheaper than GoodNotes with a $5 one-time payment. And includes layers for rearranging and there’s hyperlinks!
If you’re on iPad, you can use “sticker” feature for dragging and dropping items to your pages. same goes with photos!

This app is perfect for creating scrapbooks or 2-page layout. Con’s: It’s only for IOS and MAC and have to pay to add more than 3 notebooks and advanced tools! Combined with Canva you can make unique spreads!!
Paper by WeTransfer for IOS
I use this app for everything. Planning, watchlists, calendar, and so much more. There’s templates to start with so it’s not as complicated once you start. You can add widgets png from Pinterest or code, the possibilities are actually endless!
