The ambiance
Before anything touches your skin, set the mood. This is what makes it feel like a real spa.
Light this first. The moment that scent fills the room your brain shifts into relaxation mode. Lavender or vanilla are my favorites.
Scented Candle
If candles aren't available I go for diffusers.
Amazon.com: Aromatherapy Diffusers
I put on something soft and instrumental. This completely changes the atmosphere. Search 'spa music' on YouTube or Spotify and thank me later.

Skincare
I always start with a clean face. Remove any makeup or dirt before anything else so your skin can actually absorb what comes next.
Facial Cleansing Washes
I can use this face steamer and if you don't have you can lean over a bowl of hot water with a towel over your head for a few minutes. This opens your pores and prepares your skin beautifully.
Amazon Best Sellers: Best Facial Steamers
This is the star of the skincare step. I love a clay mask for deep cleansing or a sheet mask for hydration and glow. Apply and leave it on , don't wash off yet, we are moving to hair next.

I pop these under my eyes while my mask is on. They depuff and brighten and honestly feel so relaxing.

Once I wash off the mask, l spray this all over my face. It rebalances my skin and smells absolutely beautiful.
Organic Rose Water Fine Mist Spray 120ml
I finish my skincare by rolling or sculpting my face. It depuffs, lifts, and helps everything absorb deeper. So relaxing.

Hair treatment
I mash one ripe avocado until smooth. This is my base. It is rich in natural oils and vitamins that deeply nourish and soften my hair.
Avocados in Fresh Fruits - Walmart.com
I mix a generous amount into my mashed avocado. This adds extra moisture and makes the mask easier to apply from root to tip.
Avocado Oil - Amazon.com
Next I wrap my hair after applying the mask. The warmth helps it penetrate deeper. I leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes while my face mask also works its magic.
I sit back, sip my tea, and let both treatments do their work. This is my favourite part. T...

Manicure and pedicure
I later do my hands and feet
I fill a bowl with warm water and soak my hands and feet for 5 to 10 minutes. This softens everything and feels so good.
Manicure Bowl - Walmart
I add a handful to my soak water. It is great for softening my skin and relieving tension in my feet especially.
Epsoak Epsom Salt 19 lb Magnesium Sulfate
I apply cuticle oil and gently push back my cuticles. This one small step makes my nails look so much more polished and cared for.
Ceramic Cuticle On/Off Oil Pusher (Rose)
I massage this in generously after my soak. My skin feels impossibly soft every single time.
The Best Hand Lotion & Foot Cream - Aveda
I finish with my favourite colour. For me it is always something pink. This is my final touch of beauty.

Body
I end with my body so I finish feeling completely smooth and moisturized.
I gently scrub my body in circular motions. This removes dead skin and leaves me feeling brand new.
Body Scrubs – Tree Hut Shea®
If I am having a bath I add these to the water. The colours, scents, and minerals make it feel like a true luxury experience.
Handmade Bath Bombs | LUSH
This is my final step. I apply it while my skin is still slightly damp after my bath or shower. It locks in all that moisture and softness beautifully. Any butter or lotion can be used.
