We fell in love with Beach Plum Farm. We visit every time we are in Cape May. We love walking around and enjoying all that they have to offer. If you like to stroll through gardens, enjoy plants, shopping for hidden gems or local favorites this is the place for you. Their market has everything from food, drinks, housewares, and Beach Plum Farm merchandise. When we were there live music was playing and we munched on delicious food from their top rated kitchen. The food was created with food their farm. Get there early most days they close by 5pm and 3pm on Saturdays. Want more time, their cottages are beautiful! Stay for the weekend or longer and experience all they have to offer! Need an event space? Please check here first! They have beautiful spaces for any kind of event.
Beach Plum Farm | Cottages, Market & Kitchen | West Cape May
Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Get there early or you will have quite a walk, as the parking lot is on the smaller side. Many people park along the road and walk down to the beach if the lot is full. We watched some fishermen reel in a pretty nice size fish while we were there. Not only will you experience the sun setting, but there are also a few things to do/look at while you are there. There is the Sunset Beach Gift store, The Fish House bar and grille, and Rock N Apparel. The SS Atlantus, an experimental concrete cargo ship that ran aground 150 feet from the shore, is a landmark to see. Don't forget to look for “Cape May diamonds” while you are there!
Sunset Beach, Cape May
We enjoyed our time on the beach in Cape May. The sand was soft, the lifeguards were top notch, and there were food choices right across the street from where we settled our blanket. This is a must stop for us when we visit. You will need to purchase a beach tag to visit the beach.
Cape May Beaches and Beach Tags
If biking or walking is up your alley, this is a 2 mile paved path created for you. We love to walk and look at the beach and surrounding houses while getting our exercise.

Looking for a more quiet and less crowded beach. Poverty Beach is it! It is a great place to watch the sunrise. If you are a bird watcher, you will be in your glory here!

Restaurants
This is a must stop if you are visiting Cape May. Get there early or you will have quite the wait…it's that good, you will want to wait! They are known for their Belgium waffles and they are delicious! We have been there several times and the food has been fantastic each time.
The Mad Batter Restaurant & Bar: Casual Dining in Cape May NJ
We had a yummy lunch at Delaney Irish Pub & Grill. We took a break from shopping and doing a scavenger hunt in Washington Square Mall.
Delaney's Cape May
We enjoyed the atmosphere sitting at the bar and at an outside table. We enjoyed watching the ferry. The food and drinks were delicious. The crushes were freshly made and out of this world! The key lime and orange crushes were our favorites. We loved that it wasn't overly crowded and the staff were wonderful.

If you like peanut butter or nuts this is the place for you! They have so many different types of peanut butters. Ask for a sample, they are happy to have you try them before you buy! They also have other types of nut butters, as well as dog treats! My pup loved them!
Don't blink or you will miss this gem! It is located in the basement of Congress Hall and is well worth stopping. It was one of our whole group's favorite stops. It has an industrial feel, but with the brick and stone walls feels cozy. It's a restaurant/lounge/night club. The food was phenomenal, the brick oven pizza was chef's kiss. The nightlife was fun and energetic - there was a live music when we were there. For those of you who like sports, yes there are many TV's.

We enjoyed an afternoon of sitting outside, sipping wine, and having great conversations. The wine was very good, but we especially loved the sangria and the Willow Whip Float. AMAZING! The food was very good and the staff were very nice and attentive.
Willow Creek Winery
One of our favorite stops! The wine, atmosphere, food truck, music, and staff were amazing. Plenty of parking. Great place to go with the family and spend some time. The kids had a great time playing (as well as the fur babies!). We can't wait to go back!
Hawk Haven Vineyard
Ice cream meets 50's diner. Come for the delicious ice cream, stay and eat in a 50's “car/table.” Yes, they have booths that look like the back of a 1950's car. Everywhere you look there is something from the 50's. Such a fun place to visit that serves AMAZING ice cream!

Want to do a little shopping, eating, window shopping, relaxing, browsing…whatever you like to do, it is located here. We came here to shop and to do a little scavenger hunt for my daughter's bachelorette trip. You can spend an entire day here (or more!).
Washington Street Mall
You feel like you are stepping back in time when you walk in this store. They have a little bit of everything here. They have some retro items as well as new and fun items (think toys, home decor, clothing, food, souvenirs, etc.)
Cape May Trading Post at Dellas | Washington Street Mall | Cape May, NJ
Like looking for little (or big) treasures? This is the spot for you! We were amazed at the size of the building and the amount of fun finds we found here. They have EVERYTHING you could ever need or imagine from knick knacks, vintage items, to clothing and house decor. This was not a quick trip for us. We enjoyed browsing, reminiscing at some of the items we had when we were little, as well as looking for the perfect items for our home.
