When selecting a vendor, there are key qualities we look for—standards that must be met before we feel confident putting our name behind them. Here’s what we consider essential:: 1. Would rather work with a planner (i.e. they don’t give pushback and make things hard for you.) 2. Appropriate response times (24 hours on any given day, 2-3 days in the busy season. Florists will always take longer given the nature of their work.) 3. Properly staffed with back up plans 4. Insured 5. Proper contracts, clear services, and expectations 6. Arrives on time, if not early 7. Develops ideas 8. Goes the extra mile for each event 9. Delivers consistent and reliable product 10. Clean and professional in appearance 11. Personable and relational 12. Provides education to each client 13. Doesn’t manipulate an upsell 14. Does not drink on the job 15. Positive vibes only (we don’t work with gossips, downers or high-strung personalities) PLEASE TELL YOUR VENDORS THAT WE RECOMMENDED THEM TO YOU. They have an amazing berry cream cake and can do a simple 8" and then sheet cakes in the back to cut! They do not deliver so you'd need a family member/friend to bring it to the Vineyard!
